Living in Relationship 

Can you picture yourself sitting on a bench with me? We are talking about all things good friends include in a conversation. Shopping, a recipe, I may tell you about a life lesson I learned at church, and you may say to me of an issue that has risen in your family or you. I am sure I will tell you about my dog, 16-year-old Ginger, and 2-year-old Baretta.  We will laugh and cry together.

We look forward to spending time together.

I can picture you sitting on the bench with me. We talk often, you help me, and I help you. Somedays, you are meeting me on the trail at Lake Hefner or finding a glider somewhere for morning coffee. We are starting a RELATIONSHIP.

In our relationship, we will Live, Learn, & Love with Lyn.  In our conversations, we will think about our relationships with family and friends, neighbors and co-workers, and with God—the Father, the Son-Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. All of these people play essential roles in our lives. 

I hope you won’t let that scare you away. This website has a goal, to help us live better, learn new things, and express ourselves in love. It is a place you can ask a question and not feel judged. Somewhere you can cultivate confidence and explore new thoughts.

My name is Lyn Livingston. I write a blog post every week and try to post them on Thursday. You will find them on the Blog page. I hope you will find encouragement and motivation when you read them. Explore the older blogs too. You may find mistakes. I am not a perfect writer, but I write from the heart with you in mind.

I love nature; in fact, I feel closer to God when I am in nature. I also like photography. I use many of my photographs on this site.

Please tell me what you like or don’t.  We live in a fantastic world. We live at a faster pace providing a reason for confusion.  It takes a conversation to sort it all out. That’s why friends are important. We listen, discuss, offer a new perspective, and pray for each other. We are supporting each other in the common questions we encounter and the more significant things where we struggle, to discover a happier life.

We are not alone, and we can get through the hard times together. Don’t forget to laugh, and I hope we have smiles and giggles too. A conversation is how we start building friends and strengthening faith.
