What is on God’s Heart?

Do you know how much God loves you?  How much He wants to spend time with you? His desire is for us to spend time with Him so He can demonstrate His abundant love.

Many of us are taking less time to spend time with God. Yes, we will cry out to Him when we need help. Pleading, we make promises of devotion, making a change, even doing whatever He wants, IF ONLY He will do something for us.

All of us have bargained with God at some time. He can speak and change the outcome. When we don’t get what we want, we turn away.

I know how that can happen. When God didn’t answer my prayer to save my mother’s life, I  turned away. The result was a journey of forty years in the wilderness.

When I did start turning back to Him, He was waiting, watching; He never stopped loving me. When I ran into His waiting arms., angels sang, and cymbals clanged as He held me while I cried, letting go of all. The regret I had stored up. I started spending more time with Him. Reading a verse, saying a prayer, being still. That is all I knew how to do.

As I matured in my faith, I started writing. I felt the Holy Spirit leading me and revealing more of God’s love to me. I was transforming before my own eyes and stand in promises I never knew He made. It is a wonderfully awesome experience, filling me with joy and peace.

Friends, I stand before you today to state I am re-dedicating my life to Jesus again. To embrace His plan for my life and live in abundant love, knowing I am enough to fulfill His will. Daily, submitting daily.

I will again be facing some life-changing challenges and may need your grace in the future weeks for missed or untimely posts.

I want you to know there is no better time than now to rededicate your life. There is nothing too great or insignificant you can’t take to Jesus. Give it to Him and let go. I have learned He can handle it better than I can.

I am praying for each of you for understanding and wisdom in your life gained from your deepening relationship with Jesus. I pray you know the abundant love from the Father and feel the stirrings of the Holy Spirit.

We need God’s help every day and live in freedom with Him walking with us every moment of every day.

On a scale of one to ten where is your faith, today? If it is lower than you would like, spend some time with God. The next time you have a challenge you will be glad you did!

He is waiting to spend time with you and give you abundant love.
